I'm assuming the best shield to use with our new ability is still Genbu's for obvious reasons, but were there any I'm missing for solo/melee when not /nin?

Nope, it's still pretty much Genbu, but I think there's a few Attack+ shields.

I still use my cheapo Numinous Shield =X

Then again, I'm never with a club/shield.

I've been doing Magian trials with Genbu and seem to be blocking quite a bit, tons of skillups too... but my shield is only 65 :X

I personally prefer 2 clubs. But if you want to use a shield for blocking then...

Wrong. Granted WHM has a D class in shield. I've had shield blocks proc enough. And with the Shield Defense Bonus that whms have, it makes solo'ing with a club/shield setup that much better. DD whm ftw! :D
