Earring would be Regain while engaged/Attack+4. Para+2 would be DA+10%.

I'd bet the level 89 R/Ex items drop off Tier 3s in new areas (maybe blue procs), and Twilight items are probably from Shinryuu.

The low STR of the build makes me a little antsy. If we're using 3 Crit Atmas (94% crit rate), there's no room for a STR Atma. If we use a STR Atma, then we're back down to a 74% Crit rate (but it's possibly worth it). Ire Torque+1 would be a neck option to boost STR.

I don't think regain at 1 per tick would be game breaking, and to be honest I don't think it would make that much of a difference on DNC. Too lazy to check if there are any other awesome earrings out there with the new update but I think another piece would be better.

If you're DD'ing 10% DA dagger is going to be ***from decreasing returns (again if you're dding should be full timing saberdance)

If he has haste and dual marches, he's capping reduction, if not, then yes.

Despite having high DA to start with, the DA+10% Parazonium is very competitive with other options:

Starting with 33% Double Attack from Saber Dance 5/5 + the gear above:
Y*60*1.33*(48+13 + 44+12)/(176+190) = Y*25.5 <-- Y is the benefit from Accuracy
X*60*1.33*(48+13 + 43+12)/(176+190) = X*25.3 <-- X is the benefit from Attack
60*1.43*(48+13 + 45+13)/(176+211) = 26.4

Y=3.5% (~92% Acc pre-dagger) to match the DA Para +2
X=4.2% (Assuming cRatio is directly proportional to pDIF and doesn't cap, ~600 Attack pre-dagger) to match the DA Para+2

Haste and Dual Wield are constant across cases, so it is unnecessary to consider them. Multiply the DPSs by 5 if it bothers you. WS damage would be increased by all the mentioned stats, although it's unlikely that you'd benefit from more Accuracy during WS. The Double Attack dagger also gives a higher WS frequency, which isn't accounted for above. I didn't account for the 3% Triple Attack on the new ring, because we still don't really know how DA and TA interact iirc.


I agree that 1 TP/tick regain is nothing fabulous (especially considering how quickly we get TP), but it's probably better than 3 Attack. For someone with Twash, it might actually be hard to overlook the TP Bonus+25 augment.

i'd switch your para for str kila, you are rather low on str and double attack will have decreasing returns as a DD.

At 85 it was the optimal offhand to Twashtar iirc (and a strong mainhand for DDing without Twashtar), but we did gain 8% DA and 3% TA this update... what's the DA value on the Para +2?

If I factor in WS frequency and stuff, the STR/Atk Kila +2 would have to give about +9% damage during TP and WS (not very likely with a 94% crit rate) in order to match the DA Parazonium +2.
