There was that one picture of Failure doing 39k(Actually 19.5k since it was a double damage mob) w/ SAM/THF on Fudo.
I would assume it does a decent ammount of damage, although still pointless since it's best to kill asap to save brew time for the next mob. You'll never be able to SATA Hide with a brew active on an NM and obtain the SATA effect as afaik all Abyssea NMs are True Sight/Sound, and why waste a brew on a normal mob unless you've got cruor to burn or are just really curious about dmg number lol.

It'd only be 1.35*3/2 or 2.025x more damage, maximum. It'd be neat but it's not gonna be faster than just WSing twice.

Max potential dmg not including dmg type weaknesses would be just under 30k dmg. That's with either af+1 gloves or af3+1/2 assuming they add the same amount. Max pdif which probably wont happen on anything higher lvl than you. Af3+2 set bonus. And capped +crit dmg Nope. I meant you would get 30k WITH armlets AND capped crit. And only if you happen to roll capped pdif AND triple attack AND have set bonus proc. Realistically speaking you can hit as low as 7600 on a lvl 95 mob if you don't get af3+2 set bonus
You could do more potentially with Aeolian edge and much more consistent. Though nms would tend to be semi resistant.... oh I forgot the ODD from empyrean or the weapon that uses stones... though not sure it can proc with all that other stuff. And definitely isn't 100%
Assassin doesn't add anything to SATA
I did SATA + 300%Rudra's with brew on a glavoid shortly after finishing my twashtar. It was fairly underwhelming, only did a bit more than the average brewed aeolian.

[166 days between previous and next post]As long as mob is weak to magic ws's SATA brew > all X10000000000000000000000000000000000000000. Only catch is you need to use blade to, stack crit dmg gear (ie AF+2hands lokis ammo and mantle. I have personally killed rani @84% with one sata blade to ws. My last ls did 14 Azdaja with one brew. Considering SATA on nin doesn't have same mods as thf, i call bogus. Thats fine axle, it does not matter that you believe, my post was meant for Josiah, and FYI its THF main...

And i've done Blade: To on rani with beyond,smiting,blinding. 500 dmg isn't alot to build on. I'm sure SATA has some good mods, but sounds like your making up stuff you don't remember properly. |
