Very nice, good job compiling these. I find that auto translate works a bit better but could be useful.

Misleading title, or are you saying we have to become JP? They can deal with auto trans, as I'm sure they understand it. Not like they go through great lengths to communicate to us (most don't and just exclude us from their groups).

If a JP tells you that they can't read English, they're lying.

I tried once and died @30%, could probably be done, but getting a a mage to support you makes it a guaranteed win.

On-Topic; I don't exactly get the OPs pic... explanation?

I keep seeing this thread on the front page, and every time, it's "How to get voidwatch items" - "do voidwatch." But the thread never asks. :(

Japan calls "Paladin" -> "Knight", interesting.

Also I see a typo. "Abiritexi" should say "Abiritei"

This chart was written by a Japanese woman.

There are problems with auto-translate, most notably Dark Knight is almost always translated by Japanese as Souleater, which would make no sense in terms of Voidwatch weaknesses.

This is further evidenced by very important terms being misinterpreted across clients. Standing by in English and Japanese means we are ready and waiting, where as the German client means we are not ready yet.

On a funny note, "Please invite me" can also mean "Please put it in". Yes, that "it."

Thank you for pointing that out Kirana. I was confused myself, but turns out that's how you have to enter it into natural input to get the correct form of the word. I was confused because I only knew of using the l key for this.

Chi-Beast, however, is on it's own.

Fortunately, I know the Kanji by memory. But seriously, when your lone Blu trigger is an English player, would it kill you to use the auto-translate function?

adding x or l in front of the vocal i, will give you small kana
If you try to type it:
abiritexi -> アビレティ -> correct
abiretei -> アビレテイ -> incorrect

I've never see people use 炎 to refer to element fire, to be honest.

They are taught at least written english in their schools!
So you could technically go visit and instead of trying to talk to them you'd do better writing any questions down. A friend of mine who visited several years ago told me this and I thought it was somewhat interesting.

I've never see people use 炎 to refer to element fire, to be honest.

I agree with Fafnir in that the JPs will use 炎 (flame) for calling out procs, instead of 火 (fire). Also, "Ability" tends to be shortened to アビ and they'll usually say 学アビ (SCH ABI) or 踊アビ (DNC ABI) with the exception of provoke, which will very often be in the kanji form.

Also, JPs tend not to talk in English because it's a pain. It's like going back to high school and trying to remember the conjugations for French/Spanish verbs etc. It's pretty much the same for me when I party with the JPs. It's definitely easier to read and understand, but it comes to responding or giving instructions, it's much harder when you have to be clear and coherent.

Also, for those without any background knowledge of the language who think they can just get away with google translate. Good luck.

How does Sudden Lunge hit on him? If he doesn't resist I'd imagine a BLU could solo it np, that stun lasts a ridiculous amount of time.
