Nother PUP Question!

Hey guys,

I now have the soothinghead for my pup, and im just wondering how I should be using Manuvers when I have people in my party. I looked on wiki, but it only says the the Light and Water manuver effct it my pup casts on others.

So right now I am keeping light on at all times, and adding water if someone needs a -ana of any kind. And dark for refresh.

Anything else I should be doing?

For the sake of affecting your party members, those are the right maneuvers. Just keep in mind that your auto prioritizes the master always first, then the person with hate.

Thank u for quick responce. One last question, can i have no manuvers up and will he cast protect/shell on others?

It will never cast on another party member without a water maneuver present.

Well before the patch, the trend was that for the soulsoother to cast on party members at all, it required a (light) maneuver. I'm sorry to say I haven't been on PUP enough recently to test if that changed. I don't remember it having changed, though.

if they dont need -nas id switch water for ice for faster casts

and for saving mp

The absolute best 100% advice I can give you is.... Make sure you get all of those darn expensive attachments. They really do help so much. I always start with water, then stack darks for refresh during down time, then do water + lights for cure. Water should always be up in case you overheat. But I don't know if any of this has changed in any recent update, it's what I would always do.
