Shijin Spiral Builds

Couldn't see a post on this, so was wondering what people were using for shijin.
This is my current set for DC dyna mobs

I'm no PUP, But, For Shijin, i think something like this would be good...



Its been a long time since i looked at PUP WS Gear. Me and your gear is pretty close... But I only got Stringing Pummel, So Its a bit different in that regard. (Above isn't my WS Set)

Brutal is still the best earring.

Ghillie +1 vs Jupiter's Pearl is mostly a tossup.

No.

This is 2004 and spike neck is kind of a big deal.

PUP Gets crap for gear, I couldn't think of any Necks for it. First that came to mind was the STR/DEX+4 Einherjar Neck... Second was the Moepapa Neck.

<madness>

That aside. Ghillie Earring+1? Can imagine in most Harder VW Situations, That'd be nice.. for Stuff like DYNAMERZ and sh*t, Can imagine the Acc/Atk would give you less than the DEX Earrings in terms of damage gain.

Thought maybe the DEX+6 Neck would be better.


Was my gut Belt, But again, Didn't know if PUP Could use it, I only looked at it once, Thought it was All jobs but wasn't sure. Its a nice belt though.

if you are looking for dex on a neck piece Love torque has 5 on it.

Downloaded Motentens pup spreadsheet to check out neck options.
Elvaan pup/dnc (assumed closest stats to pup/thf for dyna) with 12 str/dex merits and yellow curry buns. With my gear set above I get these ws numbers

Agasaya - 1980
Spike - 1983
Knack - 1986
Love - 1988
Moepapa - 1996

and with above set and swopping ghillie

ghillie - 1983
ghillie +1 - 1986
jupiters - 1982

quick question if you have Stringing Pummel is this worth meriting or should i put them towards some other job that needs the merited WS's more?

Shijin Spiral will only pull ahead if you are having a lot of trouble with attack, or are fighting mobs with crit- traits.

Stringing pummel supposedly has an attack bonus as well, but I don't believe it was ever quantified.

Really, the only reason to use it is to self SC gravitation (shijin > stringing pummel) if you don't have vere. The plague doesn't land on anything besides trash mobs from my experience.
