Fiat Lux (Windurst)

Considering it's almost Sunday and conquest tally time. And the fact that San d'Oria has all the areas that count toward this BCNM under their control and don't seem to be losing it. I thought I should make this post.

To the legions of people that wish to unlock this BCNM for themselves, friends, or just get together for it:

This coming week, focus on tearing down the Kindred strongholds of Beaucedine Glacier, Xarcabard, Castle Zvahl Baileys, and Castle Zvahl Keep.

I have a small group already ready to do this effort so that the following week we can have Fiat Lux (San d'Oria) open! There is no designated time to get together for this, however I will mostly be on during the evening in one of those Kindred areas doing my best.

If we can all push for this we can open up the BCNM and reap the rewards. Anyone who is interested in making a group for the actual BCNM can shoot me a /tell in game or leave me a message here.

P.S.: If you already are part of a different nation but really want to participate, you STILL can. You keep your medals, notes, and everything when changing nations.

From wiki: " If you wish to change your allegiance, you must complete the first quest in the WotG missions for that specific nation. Only one nation mission can be completed at a time. If you change allegiance to a different nation, you will keep all of your Allied Notes, Campaign Ops Credits, and your current rank. All progress toward your next rank evaluation will be reset however, as will the duration of your current medal and the time until your next possible rank evaluation (30 and 5 earth days respectively). If returning to a nation you had previously been allied to, you must pay 300 Allied Notes and return your two most recently acquired medals. There is no penalty if you do not have pre-existing medals."

We lost Batallia, but we can get that back easily while working on Kindred as well. I hope people are seeing this and doing what they can.

The problem is doing the battles isn't enough. Unless all three nations are helping, there just aren't enough attacks on the zones to wipe them out to the point that it actually will get you them, especially the indoor areas. You need to kill off the enemy groups when there aren't attacks happening (causing a retreat instead of returning victorious, which while doesn't help a nation does hurt the beastman standing), which means no tags, no rewards, and EXP loss on death. While that's a hell of a lot easier than it once was (and no tags actually means AoE effects are limited to single target), you're not likely to find many people willing to work for no rewards for a couple weeks so that they can get 13-14 chances at mostly obsolete items.

I agree with you Kohanu. But I'm sure there are people who are interested and will be dedicated enough to get this done, hopefully. It doesn't hurt to try!

Update: After tallying the results, Windurst is the nation that has all the zones that count under their control (Sauromugue, Meriphitaud, Karugo-Narugo, and Sarutabaruta). All that would be needed would be to take the Kindred lands that count.

So I guess the topic should be changed to Fiat Lux (Windurst).

Remember, you can change your nation with little penalty. Your Medal of Altana is important so I would probably only suggest changing to Windurst only after the kindred lands are seized.

I'd try to get people to actively do it to try to get all the nations actively attacking northlands. The more there are, the easier it is to take them.
