The chance of this lawsuit winning is ridiculously low. So it is a political move not an actual lawsuit.
Chances of the lawsuit winning may be slim.
Chances of it enacting some sort of legislation regarding the sale of massive ammounts of ammunition or military/police-grade equipment to unqualified individuals, however, may be higher.
Edit: And hey. If "lawsuits as political moves" are bad, then everyone voting Republican better be ready to oust their incumbents in the primaries. Why shouldn't a citizen be able to have that equipment?

Fascism borrowed theories and terminology from socialism but replaced socialism's focus on class conflict with a focus on conflict between nations and races.
Fascism is neither a type of government nor an economic model.
It's a state of society that goes beyond typical national identity or patriotism and into ultranationalism.

The best teachers I had in school were all "left-leaning".
The ones that were "right-leaning" were the ones who sucked and counted on tenure and the union to cover their ***.
Except that I'm just highlighting these to prove a point to you; I know it for what it is. Individuals being individuals.
The problem with schools isn't a partisan issue. It's an issue of standardized teaching methods and testing being absolute, utter, complete, and total ***. Combined with a dwindling support for teachers, meaning all the people who would love to help children and teach don't go into the field, because being in the field is hell.
I give props to those who soldier through it for the benefit of the children. I myself did not have the fortitude to keep on with it.
Oh, and a decided lack of funding because all the "right-leaning" politicians want to win points with stupid people who can't understand that you pay taxes to support valuable infrastructure, including schooling children.

I grew up in rural Pennsylvania.
We had a school board member who constantly voted "no" to let sports, science, and other school clubs use school facilities on Sundays beacause God.
The state and federal government have had their hands so deeply into curriculums that it's not even funny, and you know damn well that any time funding is cut to schools, it's because someone thinks they can lower taxes by doing so to make themselves look good.
Liberal or Democrat is meaingless in this argument beyond the God issue, aka the fundamentalist twatbags who think we shouldn't teach science.
Though it's true that right wing folks are more likely to cut arts and humanities, despite constant, repeated studies showing that children who participate in music and art do better in maths and sciences.
