BeyondFate is a new linkshell on Asura made by returning players, and we are looking for other returning/new/confused/bored/helpful/friendly members.

BeyondFate was founded by two old time FFXI players who have come back to Vana'diel to reminisce about times long gone, and to meet new friends as we relearn everything.

We'd like to keep the shell fun and friendly, and promote an atmosphere of true friendship and camaraderie.

A little bit of a dirty mind, and a good sense of humor is definitely needed in this shell, so be warned, we tease, flirt, ect.

You can join by sending a tell to Anyafoxx*, Coolname, Fleur, Figgs, Neuton, Gamus, Giliant, Learic, Wyvernsoul, Gyomi, Coastie or Mortificator and asking one of them for a pearl, or visiting the linkshell concierge and grabbing a pearl.

Warning: Killvoid will get you killed. A lot.

"The Rules"

Everyone from seasoned vets to beginners are welcome, and we want everyone to feel at home in our shell regardless or race, religion, sexual preference, ect.

It also tickles us pink when people keep their gearing opinions to themselves. Everyone plays this game for different reasons :)

"Events"
We do events sometimes, and are always on the lookout for nice people with good attitudes to do events with, and jump into higher tier content.

I've never been very good at advertising lol.
Always get nervous.

There's a lot of nostalgic sentimental value in starting over (especially if you mean literally). Those who always enjoyed the various story-lines of FFXI are able to relive every expansion and as many quests as you dare to redo (or do for the first time).

When I came back from my hiatus way back when, I was so starved for those old-school memories I went and farmed as many NM drops as I could - even if they're useless (Velocious Belt, Peacock Amulet, Vivian Ring, etc). It was just great.

But sooner or later you'll most likely be faced with something your original vision for the LS may or may not have included - some of your members may want to do end game. I can promise you there's very little more tragic than a social LS full of members who are hungry to do end game but do not have the means to do so.

Hopefully you guys end up being a strong community and can thoroughly enjoy the game for what it is with today's variety of content.

we're off to a great start, have about 15 members already, a lot of husband/wife duos.
Friendly members with great sense of humor. We had a lot of laughs last night.
The sense of camaraderie was great!
I am learning now that this linkshell will be for people who have an open mind, and a sense of humor.

We probably will run some endgame when the time comes.

I agree! we are off to a great start with new people joining daily. We have some really great people and some funny conversations at times lol.

I tried to get my husband to join yours when I was in it, but he kinda likes having creative control, so we branched out, and it's been wonderful and highly entertaining, but was not a reflection on you guys at all. You have some great folks and gave me a home when I first came back.

We do and no apologies needed. People can come and go as they please. I never had a false expectation that it would be a paradise for everyone, and I get the control part.

Have been fairly lucky to have very few drama incidents I've had to stomp out + lots of nice people to answer questions. Be very cautious to accept Savo or Micora if they join. I had to remove them both recently for numerous problems and complaints. I wouldn't normally player warn, but the entire fiasco was pretty unbelievable.

Yeah, Savo was a ***when he was in Ramsy's shell a while back, last year.

I hate player warnings, but he is the type of person that deserves one.

Yeah we have had minimal drama, which is amazing considering how big the server is.
