Unsure what's causing this exactly, but it's an issue I've had for years.
Basically, the chat will just stop reporting anything new. It will display the last thing it showed before it froze/crashed, then just stay there even after countless fights.
Are there any solutions to fixing this aside from re-launching Playonline and FFXI?
