os question for beta testers
i understand the beta testers cant really talk about the game, my question is this. Any beta testers currently testing on a xp system?? im wanting to know if i can stick with xp or if ima have to upgrade to windows 7 just to play 14.

I'll be testing on XP via iMac, so if it works on mine it will work on yours >.>
I'll be on XP Pro aswell, so if it doesn't work.. /cry
But like Blurr said, testing hasn't started, so the only way to tell would be to wait another week or two to find out~

I'll be testing on XP as well. iirc they asked what os you're using when you applied, if it wouldnt work with XP i dont think you would be chose, or that they would have had that option.

Last I remember, FFXIV is only Vista/Windows 7 compatible, at least that's what I am remember, it may have changed since.

ROFL go to www.mmorpg.com and post this. sooo much leaked info, nobody really cares. They have released the minimum specs needed to run the alpha client now, and XP with SP3 is in the list.
I'll be running on XP home edition, gonna wipe and reinstall my comp tonight after limbus, needs redoing anyway, gonna be off ffxi for a couple of days, but i'm kinda fixed on ffxiii anyway right now.
If theres anyone here that got into the alpha and doesn't think they will be able to play send me a PM I will make you an offer for your account!

I was unaware I had to enable the PM feature, how do I go about doing it anyway!?
