So I'm working on one of the new scythes and i can't decide on the path I want. Which should I choose?
dmg 76 delay 528 occ attacks twice, or dmg 105 delay 528?

If possible give your reasoning.

~I think it depends on the proc rate on the Occ attacks twice. If memory serves it was far far superior if it's the same proc as the Joyeuse.

As for the 105 dmg Scythe I have no idea sorry.

If OAT is ~50% like other OATs, destroys every other nonrelic scythe in the game by a large margin.

I can't justify SE adding an OAT weapon w/ DMG+, along with an OAT weapon of equal stats w/o the dmg boost and them BOTH having proc rates like that. My guess the lower one will, higher one will not proc near that much. Just my prediction

the 105 doesn't have the extra attack.

My guess is that the lower dmg version will be able to upgrade further in the next update while the higher dmg version will be the final of that path.

Those are the two weapons, and the reason I seriously doubt SE has any plans to continue these particular trials is bc they didnt skip numerically. Trials pick right back up at 523 and 526, meaning they show no indication they wanted to extend them.

No idea, since nobody has tested the proc rates. Would seem like a big pain in the *** for SE though since OAT is already programmed into weapons to make separate ones. A lot of the paths have really weird comparisons like the above though...

How do the final quests compare between the two?

Is the low dmg weapon significantly easier to obtain?

I've begun the GKT one and the final quest for that one is 10 Krab shells from the Gigantor Crab.

If the final stage of the low dmg one doesn't require NM mats then I would suspect that to be the only difference.

If the lower base dmg ones do as well then it just seems pretty dumb. Guess the DA rate could be a variable then.

There seems to be OTT wep

High DMG normal Delay wep

Normal Dmg Normal Delay added stats wep

for every DD job

On GKT for example there is a DMG 40 OAT and a DMG 40+28 OAT

I believe all the weapons have 2 OAT options. One with a low base and one with the low base + additional dmg.
