Alchemy

Okay, so I've been stuck at 53 Alchemy for *ever*. All the synthesis really suck. Does anyone have any ideas about what's best? Whether it's most cheap or fastest skills, I don't really care. Just want this crap done! xD

Oh, and before anyone says, this I HAVE gone through Alchemy guide's to 60 and stuff. None really worked out though ><

And how this got under End Game?.... i will never know O.o

Honestly, what I did was buy a crap ton of flint stones to make glass fiber.

1 fire crystal + 8 flint stones= 1 loop of glass fiber and caps out at 61.

And whenever I had dolls shards(2), magic pot shards(4), or golem shards(2), I'd make cermet chunks.

I went to Ordelle's Caves playing around with Malboros and Gobbies, and farmed/ crafted in place Hi-Potions. Sage and Distelled Water you can get in San d'Oria beforehand.

I did, however, level to 56 before with Sleeping Potions. When to Crawler's Nest massacre the Mushrooms on bottom floor (and took the chance to kill some scorpions on the way for gilz). After I got 5 mushroom stacks, went to Jeuno to buy the rest of ingredients and craft.

Poison Flour – Sold by Pawkrix in Lower Jeuno. Goblins' Goblet through Muckvix's Junk Shop in Lower Jeuno at (H-10).

Ah yeah, i've tried both. Maybe i just have horrid luck at skill ups? lmao.

i still have like 2 stacks of sleeping potions in my MH... i swear i made like 15 stacks and *nothing* :(((

Cermet Chunks are good, you can usually break even or slight profit on some servers.

Ebonite is the fastest, you might be 1 or 2 skill levels below optimal though, and it's nearly an entire Loss synth.

Skill after lvl 50 slow down to an extreme. When I reached Clothcraft 50, it was a pain to actually keep the mood to continue, because I needed about 3 stacks final product for 1 skill up... And that was with silk getting lost all the way... meh!

Try to craft on Darksday, dont get Syntethesis Support, and with Water crystals turn to SW. This is all studied speculation by many players, but according to personal experience (coincidence or not on 4 leveled up Crafts) it did help.

Yeah i have cooking past 50 as well, but its not nearly as bad. Not even close D:

Then you are being lucky... From Cooking 55-60 I got so pissed of because of constant breaks and lack of skill up, I simply changed the recepie I was doing... And voilá, success! I gave Stone Cheese a chance on new-moon darksday and leveled up very nicely. Made in 1 hour what I hadn't done in a week >.<

It's all a question of luck. And PATIENCE... Mine is about to run out with those damned Coeurl Subs that don't sell <.<

I'm doing stone cheese right now :O lots of breaks tho -_- but its lightsday... which might be it :P

but also check these out.... and really the legwork to figure stuff out isnt hard.

sleeping potion (56)
quake grenade (58)
cermet chunk (56/59/60)
hi-potion (60)
glass fiber (61)
porcelain flowerpot (61 with the cermet from previous skill up)
venom dust (61/62)

check your server for prices and how fast they sell. try any or all of these. you can mix and match. you can also farm or fish some of this stuff so it can be done cheaply or maybe for profit.

This is important. START NOW! get Anima Synthesis (Key Item) costs 20k points

Do Cermet Chunks or Sleeping Potions >> 56

When you reach 56 change to Hi potions (very cheap) >> 60

Or go to Crawlers nest Kill scorpions . 100% drop of 2 claws and craft venom dust >> 61.

Remedy Ointment will take you >> 66

Use the venom dust from earlier to make venom potion >> 68

or do remedy >>69

So now this is where Anima Synthesis begins. Spam them to 75. Make sure you make some of each element for later on.

If you havnt done smithing >> 16 yet.. you should do so.
Bloody Bolt Heads >> 81 and they sell well too

Now you can use all those Animas you made earlier to make Photoanimas >>> 85

Super Ether >> 89 (camp the AH for those ahriman wings)

This bit sux getting to 95ish..

IF there is alot of Dried Mugwort on your AH make any stat potions or hermes quenchers. >>92

Icarus Wing >> 93
Marksman's Oil (camp ah for goblin grease)>>95

Pro-ether / sun water >> 100

well on cerb id do sleeping pots and cermet but dont flood the market. then id farm claws or fish for dust and probably npc most of it unless you are taking alchemy past 60. you can farm shards if you want, but i think its more time efficient to just get them off the ah while supplies last.

I think cermet chunch is a complete loss tho, unless u make more than 1 chunck in the synth. but i havent done that one
