Fishing 96-100

Ok. I just got my last skill up and hit 96. Ive seen a few different ways to get to 100.

One was to catch Pterygotus in Nash till I cap out at 99 which seems good since I can catch till im full, NPC, and then go again. It says Lugworm is best to use but how is Sinking Minnow or Rogue Rig's bite rate?

The other route is to just go and start to catch Armored Pisces.

No Ebisu yet. Got key item just haven't worked on it to much.

Which should be best or is there another option I didn't list?

Lures suck for pterygotus.

Lug worm is I believe 12 gil from the npc next to the boat to nashmau. Bite rate is awesome with it. And yeah can npc right there. Which I would reccommend


Armored pisces has a pretty decent bite rate too but yeah in the middle of nowhere and is again npc fodder.


There is also the fishing for your ebisu route. Which is how I ended up getting most the last few lvls.

If you feeling lucky you could even try something a bit slower like ryuga titans if they sell good on your server

I did Cave Cherax in QSCs, when it broke, I'd run to Raboa

When I was fishing for ebisus I got tired of doing that (takes forever plus lose the enchantment) so I ended up getting a 2nd ebisus and would keep fishing till 2nd one broke or finished ferry ride.

Then sent them to the mule I put in rabao and bam insta fix and sent back to main

I couldn't afford 2 :P

Well, I have 79 WW so I can fix my rod on the fly so that isn't a problem really.

Oh I didn't buy either of them lol. And no I meant ebisus. I was fishing FOR it not with it
