Messing Around With Item Set

Just made this set out of boredom while at work for SAM/DRG. Thoughts?

Just a thought. Haste is just under 25% with enought sTP for a 6 hit 450 delay (464 -3% from strap makes 450 delay).

I wanted to build around 5/5 Perle.

(Iirc) If you can maintain 6 hit there is nothing wrong with using Sword strap over Pole.

I don't have this set in game. Just wanted to build something on ffxiah while bored at work building around the Perle set. See what pieces I could use with 5/5 to make them worthwhile.

Waste of store tp. You have +20 store tp with the normal +25 and add +10 for 5/5 Store tp and that puts you at 17.8% tp per swing(6-hit build). Now with +11 Store tp, you are still @ 16.7%TP per swing(6-hit build) but you could put more acc(peacock charm,Toredor's Ring).Your also @ 24% haste with this setup, which isn't bad. but with Turban + dusk+kitty pant+fuma you would be @ 26% haste(25%cap)

As far as the other stats, I can compare the two if you like. Either way the Perle is still a decent set, but you can improve on Haste and Store TP usage over the current set that you built.

Thanks for the input Dizzmal. Like I said, trying to have fun with the new items and 5/5 Perle. I threw in the ecphoria ring because I couldn't remember toredor's. As far as PCC, I didn't use that because I wanted to use the new SAM neck piece. Use Cuchu mantle because didn't like many of the new back pieces for SAM. And I used SAM/DRG so I could use wyvern earring and get as close to haste cap as possible.

Here is another set I threw together. Now with this one I tried to use the best of the best for the armor. Still using Keitonotachi with DMG 91 Delay 464 and sTP +5. For the grip, use either Sword Strap or Pole Grip. Sword would make it 6 hit build and Pole would make it a 5 hit build. Haste is 24%. And I couldn't decide between Noct armor and Haubergeon +1.

Thoughts?

Edit: and of course 5/5 sTP merits.

Edit again: 5/5 sTP merits and +13 from gear would give a 5 hit with a 464 dealy correct?

Here is the stats with the first build Vs the normal builds now:

Hauby+byakko build:
6-hit build 16.7%/swing
26% haste
+14 Str
+27 Att+10.5=37.5
+34 Acc+20.25=54.25
+27 Dex

This would include peacock charm and Toreador's ring.


OP's Set
6-hit build 17.8%/swing
24% haste
+31 Str
+30 att+23.25=53.25
+18 Dex
+32 acc+13.50=45.50

Hauby+1 build Vs OP's Build:

-2% haste
+17 Str
+15.75 att
-8.75 Acc
-9 Dex

With that setup you would be 18% tp per hit with a pole grip. so you would still have a 6 hit build with either the pole grip or the sword strap. You would need +29 store tp for a 5 hit build.
