Haven't really touched SAM much since I got abyssea, it's been sitting at 80 for a while now, since I'm MNK main.
Was wondering what 3 Atma would be best for just an exp party setting, for max DD / Survivability.

Max damage I'd say would be Apoc, VV and SB atmas, Apoc has RR3 and 15% triple attack, VV is 2/tick regain 50 str 10 double att, and SB atma is "Smiting Blow" atma.. which is (2h weapon equipped) TP bonus Superior (which is more than likely a full 100TP) and WS acc+ superior
Hmmm missing AO and not sure if I have SB or not will have to check. VV I do have. I'm 9/9 6/6 finally though so AO will just be a matter of time.

Ironclad Smiter in Altepa... its an NM that requires a drop from the local bombs (i think its called darkfire arm) and an NM drop (i believe its called tabilila mercury from the NM doll Tabilila).. smiter also drops good body seals.. like nin and sch and i believe blm.. its just like other ironclad NMs, as in swings are aoe and stun and ***..can be duoed by sch and blm both /nin if you are savy... I need apoc and VV myself lol.. when my old LS did a VV run i died at 2% ><
Another way to go about doing this is a Koki or Jinpu build.
Baying Moon Beyond Holy Mountain Hell's Guardian Ultimate Gales Can provide decent MAB, or Wind+, or Light+ (atk%). Using MAB items such as Uggalepih, Novio, Moldavite, Artemis, and Hecates, should make a mean elemental weapon skill. This will severally nerf the DOT, but not like samurai was renown for their DOT. This way you won't accidentally Ruby when you spam Jinpu or Koki. Ah I should have SB then lol, we KI farmed for Rani and proc'd red on Smiter.
i tried the koki thing, and honestly it wasn't that great... (that thread that was made about it, HAD to be a giant troll thread with brew SS lol) my best was like 3.2k or some jazz on jinpu's and koki's and the only atma i dont have for magic dmg is hell's guardian..but i have the other best, top-end MAB atma..so them getting 3x my dmg is crazy stuff...

[58 days between previous and next post]k not to sure bout best combos. i use fudo mainly so keep that in mind, current combos im tossing up are:
RR VV Harvester RR VV SA VV Apoc SA VV SA SB few other combos as well but they are the main ones, really can't decide which I want to use some advice or discussion be awesome, cheers. VV = STR+50 DA+10% Regain+2 Harvester = STR+30 DA+10% RR = DEX+50 Crit Hit Rate+30% Crit Hit DMG+30% SA = STR+40 Attack+50 SB = TP Bonus+ Superior WS ACC+ Superior Apoc = Triple Attack+15% Apoc > SQ

VV/Smiting Blow/AlphaOmega or Ultimate as a third are nice depending on what Weapon skills I want to use.

He mentions "1k crits and 4-hit, Vs miniscule Double attack" In this sense he's implying that One Atma would rob him of the 4 hit, Where as Plaguebringer has Identical sTP to Scorpion Queen. Meaning he would not lose his 4-hit. VV/sb/griff claw depending on what i do
or VV/apoc/griff claw so i dont waste a few TP if you cant ws everytime @100tp . [tp bonus GK] dont know if MAB atmas win VS +100tp. not sure about the jinpu mod @100/200/300tp if you're going for straight damage, you can try apoc/alpha and omega/VV. when triple attack kicks in on your rana it can do up to 3.5k+.
in my own screwing around with atmas, ive found the best ws combo to be VV, SA, and SB for my gekko/jinpu to have consistent high numbers. for dps, i do a combo of VV RR apoc, though i see some awful triple digit ws sometimes, i really need a decent balance between ws and dps, i was thinking VV RR SA, but i not sure,
whats a good insight to have a decent balance between high crit swings, and competent/consistent (1500+) ws damage? current tp set: ws set: in b4 brutal/finish masamune >_>
