Does this affect, in any way, the character verification process, when servers come back up?

Character verification relies on scanning AH sales, so maybe.

Stuff sometimes changes in unpredictable ways on SE's end during maintenance. Sometimes it doesn't. So we don't know if our system will be interrupted or not until things come back up.

Unfortunately yes. I'm sure I will get a ton of email. I will try to minimize the delay.

It won't be effected if you are using the guildwork client to update your character though, right?

AH sales data should start to flow in. The system will probably need a few hours to catch up. So character verification will likely be delayed. g-night

Thanks for your quick work on this, Scragg. It looks to me as though something may be stalled again, though. Yesterday evening, I was seeing sales from some time yesterday. This morning, it doesn't look as if anything new has been processed since then.

So if your are one of the concered players for an server merge, do I need to verify my charter once again to get the fenrir flag instead of my old server Unicorn?

You need to reverify your character, and then set the new one as your default.

they semi broke windower, // commands dont work in macros anymore, have to use /console for macros

I'm seeing this, too. Can't verify my two accounts and my main is being 6-7 sales. I'm sure Scragg is aware.

Data collection should be coming in normally now. Basically our XML parser was crashing after running for several hours. I found out what the problem was and hopefully it's fixed for good. Character verifications should go through unless they expired, try again if needed.
