Recently started to really focus on my DRG, it has been a long time favorite job. The sole reason I wanted to play a DRG was because of Kain from FFIV ^^

It was originally intended to be my 1st capped job when I started playing, but it wound up being WHM.

Anyway, here's what I have so far.
Recently broke Drakesbane and with the set I have I usually get between 3800-5200 depending on crit/dbl/trip atk, etc.

TP Set

Obvious upgrade is Timarli Dastanas.
Tossed up between Goading Belt and Bullwhip Belt. I have Goading so I use it.

Trying for Twilight Mail, no luck thus far.

Jump Set
(Coming Soon)
Open to suggestions.

Not the best, I know, but this is what I have been able to obtain.

What am I lacking?
What should I aim for besides what I mentioned?
What would an ideal Jump set look like?

Open to comments/criticism/suggestions, thanks!

Seriously somebody JUST made a topic for this, no reason to make a new one.

These threads have a bit of useful information to peruse as well. Your lance has the same delay as a rhongo so the hit build advice should still be applicable. If you're not going for a hit build I would definitely use EAF boots over aces. Swap heed for blitz and aces for the cowboy pants would be an upgrade. On drakes set you can swap neck for rancor at some point and perhaps some heca boots or something similar. Zahak's is good to ws in sitationally (moreso outside iirc). That's what i can think of off the top of my head, boss ^^

Also, if you do go for a hit build, make sure to account for jump tp. Or you could just wear whatever you like with some double attack and conserve-tp gear and say you have a "semi-2 hit".

Have fun :D
