If it really mattered that much to you, -DT gear is extremely accessible now, and subbing MNK RDM or BLU with Defender would make you a lot less vulnerable.

...Yeah. /RDM or /BLU, not so much. The increase in -DT gear is nice though.

I tanked every VW with WAR beside Rex and I very rarely died. Im not talking about fanatic drink tanking too. Pretty much everything beside Ig-alima was super easy to hold till next set of temporary items will pop. If you die a lot on WAR it can be one of 2 things a) your WHM sux b) you dont have PDT and MDT sets. Its probably not so easy on Taru tho lol.

Btw Galka MNK at VW have now something like 3k HP with mantra and is able to reach more in hybrid set if needed :)

Just saying there are subs that mitigate more damage than SAM does. No they're not always applicable, but if the situation permits they can be nice.
