Don't you find it hard getting Aussie members with a 3PM start time? As a leader in an Aussie shell on Odin, 3pm is too early for the vast majority of our members due to school and work. I'd have thought most Aussies that can make that time are jobless/schooless anyway, and could make the times of US shells. By starting 4-5 hours later, you cut out your Americans, but open the door to Aussies with jobs, as well as people from Indonesia, Pacific Islands, Singapore, as well as all of the UK for people with no morning commitments.
Perhaps your times are well established and you already have an established member base, but if you're targeting yourself as an Aussie shell, it's something you may want to consider. With some good leaders, you could also do runs of many events at both times, while your shorter events requiring larger numbers could be done at the half-way point, like 6-7PM. So a sky farm for instance could start at 3 with your current members, Kirin at 6-7 when more people log on with all or most of your members, then go back to farming with the second half of your members. For that reason we've had people from other servers interested in transferring to join, but Odin has been full for a very long time now... ohhh yeah Damn u guys should all migrate then!! lol

If I thought that my entire LS would agree with it, I'd almost consider picking up the whole shell and moving. But even though it might make my shell better with a lot more members, and make us the biggest Aussie shell in the history of FFXI, there's too much other stuff to keep me on Odin, and I'm sure it's the same with everyone in my shell.

well there's been talk of a forced split of the whole Odin server, I doubt it'd happen, but if it did, anything could happen.

Being able to solo 10k an hour on imps helps too :D would be nice to have a all aussie ls that actualy worked :P
but lets face it were aussies, were to layed back and lazy to let that happen muahahaha (*'-')b So tru, but just imagine the relaxing atmosphere, can all share a coldie together :) and maybe someone will actually laugh at my Aussie humour ^^.
Although I do like the compliments I get from NA ls members on vent of my accent, even if I do sometimes get called a brit ^^. ahahaahhaha US love our Vent Voices we own Brits!!
brits and aussies have sexy accents...i dont care what ppl say...you can't deny that fact...it just makes you melt...
