HQ But No HQ Product

Anyone else having this problem? I got 4 hq animations but no hq product. I tried to GM and I got some bs reply, and no I don't have the ring either so idk whats going on.

Edit Sorry should have said it was egg soup Im lvl 100+7, there is an HQ for it too.

What item are you crafting? What craft?

Unless it's a bug, has to be an error on what you think you can make. I HQ recipes all the time (get the HQ animation), but since no HQ is actually available on that synth, I just get the NQ item instead.

And then I think to myself, damn, just wasted an HQ on that ...

If there is no HQ of the item you can still get the HQ animation, I believe it's a way they wrote the code for HQ to be random.

Also you don't have to accept the "check with your fellow players or a forum" answer. If you send another message that indicates the expectation of a response they will respond.

One has no HQ, other does.

yeah I was doing the one with lizard eggs, maybe just something glitchy idk but ty for trying.

Happened to me with Cursed Cap just recently. I clearly had the HQ animation but didn't get a -1.

Didn't mind it too much though.

Ok, now that's a big deal ... given that they recently made major changes to the synth system, it's quite reasonable that a bug was introduced.

I don't know if it's possible to get HQ animation while where NQ ring ... any chance that could have happened here?

Most of these errors are usually user-based (I know I have my share!) but it's possible something real is going on too. Only test I can really come up with is a 50% tier recipe and see if all the animations follow the results. I think you should follow up with a GM to file a bug report.

I don't have the NQ ring. Too much hassle reporting it :S I'm usually lazy, that's why I didn't mind it too much.

I'll be sure to call a GM when it happens next time though (hopefully not, that's a potential 2m on our server for cursed caps. lol)
