Drg Wyvern Update

Anyone have any idea how the stats of the main weapon equip actually translate to pet dmg/stats? is it a set % dmg from the weapon is it the bonus stats on the weapon is it an atk increase any hard data yet?

It *seems* its a straight +level. So 113 Ophidian is a +14 level increase to Wyvern. My Wyvern gained ~143 HP by equipping the Ophidian and probably some str/vit/dex etc.

Actually I'm doing a parse right now, not doing a long one since I don't have time.

Without Ophidian, Wyvern is hitting for 43ish. With Ophidian for 120. The Tough Mandy I'm fighting is missing like crazy when I put Ophidian on too, I wonder how much of a diff having Upikurex will make...


This was on a tough Blanched Mandragora Level 100.

Without Ophidian Trident; fully Empathy'd:

Melee Damage Average: 41.51
Melee Accuracy: 83.33%
Crit%:14.55%

-DEFENSE-
Evasion Rate: 3.48%(mob had basically capped acc on my wyvern)
Damage Taken Average: 49.55





With Ophidian:
-OFFENSE-
Melee Damage Average: 136
Melee Accuracy: 100%
Crit%:14.71%

-DEFENSE-
Evasion Rate: 71.88%(Went from floored evasion to nearly capped evasion)
Damage Taken Average: 35.13

obviously the +hp will affect breaths in a good way but was there any noticeable increase to breath damage / accuracy?

Hard to tell if the potency to HB is from the +HP or from item level. Elemental Breaths were still doing ~450ish which is around where I was at before this update.

Well, I have Upukirex. And while I haven't had time to do any actual tests, I do have a brief experience to share.

I was in a skirmish run today, spamming for some quick bayld. And I had my wyvern tank a mob while I hit the Noetic ascension.

Well, he linked 3 more a second or so later so my wyvern had 4 skimish mobs attacking him, and nearly all missing. Those few that hit did about 70 dmg. These things were hitting me 90~150 in PDT gear. <,<

Was pretty damn funny. Wyverns seem quite a bit tougher.

Well could chalk it up to the 40% PDT, the lance probably gave them a sizable amount of DEF/VIT as well. The evasion is ridiculous, it's like +140 evasion or so with just Ophidian.

Upukirex is a level 119 item, add that in with Spirit Link's Wyvern enhancement, and ***is bound to make your wyvern tough.

just on colo reives hitting roots with filters on so just me and rygor going i did 81% of total dmg and pet did 19% of total dmg wish i had the numbers from before update but this does seem like a decent boost. breaths avg like 205 for me on root with 94 avg melee hit
