Windower 4.0 I just downloaded and installed it again, after being on a long break. Spellcast does not work however as it says it is out of date. Even tho the windower boot up updates it.
Any ideas? This stuff is over my head.

when I try and type //plugin_load spellcast because it does not work
Try //load spellcast, it may be that //plugin_load is deprecated.
I've never even heard of //plugin_load ^^;

I looked on windower site but could not see a list of plugins like there used to be. I assume it is because it is supposed to do it all itself now. if you are using a shortcut to open windower, go to the folder your new windower install resides in, right click windower.exe and run it as administrator and see if that fixes the problem.
That did not work. Trying a full Uninstall and reinstall again.
Did you turn the add-on On from the windower 4 Launcher program?
You shouldn't have to type a command to load it, it should start working automatically. Ok got it working, but have to manually load jobs now for some reason. Ty for the help.

For specific characters you can use Charname_Job.xml and it should auto load. But there could be something else holding it up. There isn't a spellcast Addon. Addons are just for 3rd pt developed plugins.

I couldn't really be sure but since it was the first time this particular one loaded on your computer it may have needed to add some first run stuff perhaps? Maybe a re-log will clear it up.
If not, I dunno, but they do load and load correctly and function when you manually do it right? If so, that's an interesting issue and one that I've not personally heard of or ran in to. Mine don't autoload with the character name either. I've tried saving them under the Name_Job convention and even the reverse. <__< They'll only autoload as Job.xml for some reason. Other than that, they work just as they should.
