So, as of today the Hillary/Kaine and Trump/Pence campaigns are pretty much over and the fate of the world as we know it rests on the shoulders of the average American voter...God help us all.

With that the Hillary and Trump threads have been closed and after today we'll start funneling Hillary & Trump chatter into RP&R.

Can we at least have a week to lament the loss of our loved ones?

Only if you concede to let Donald Trump, win or lose, tell you your loved ones were worthless despite their sacrifices!

Given the two candidates that we have currently, I don't think we could possibly underestimate the intelligence of the american public anymore.

I'd love to see Oklahoma turn blue and Mary Fallin be thrown out of office and put in the stocks for a few days. I'd buy a tomato to throw.

Dream on.

It is a pleasant dream, but sadly, an impossible one. You can still throw a tomato though.

I'll be interested to see NC's turnout. I would traditionally write it off as being the South and going with the Hardcore-Christian-pandering GOP, but I've seen a lot of discussion on Facebook via my brother-in-law (Methodist minister in NC) and a lot of the people from his congregation and circle of friends seem to be very, very against Donald Trump.

Which actually makes me feel good. I like when I see Christians taking what their book says seriously and applying it to themselves and their own lives, no just using it to judge others.~

You say this, but when DT started most of us thought it was the same joke as ever.

Which makes you wonder how many people really would vote for a Kanye/Kim Karashian ticket.

I mean, a KKK ticket has some obvious marketing problems, but...you know.

Well, she has an inherent advantage in that she didn't have to establish a recognizable brand first. "I'm famous... buy my crap!" is a strangely powerful business model.

It would be great if Trump wins then in 2020 Hillary moves to the Republican side to face him again! Make it happen.

Of course Trump would be a Democrat in 2020. It all makes sense if you think about it...

I think eventually people will get tired of the "establishment" and it may take some ridiculous non-qualified candidate to make some sort of revolution happen.

Thats being a little optimistic though - I'm sure we will still be in the same ***50 years from now with the Bushes and Clintons being involved in the presidency for 40-50 years.

I can't wait for Chelsea Clinton 2028

As much as this makes me shudder, at least the email hacks showed that she has a conscience, automatically making her the least corrupt Clinton.
