TT Platemail Droprate

I have done 0/7 vagary clears by now despite Vagary campaign droprate seems very low.. I wonder anyone been lucky?

Ive done vagary weekly for 1½-2 years, our group of 6-10 players have only seen 2 mails and that's from KI turn in. 1 was 3 weeks ago, 2nd was 1st day of this months campaign. So it sucks..

0/123 In Vagary including trade KIs with npc

Over the years we killed Plouton around 1000 times, never seen a single Tartarus Platemail drop.
All the ones we have in LS come from KIs, Bonanza or AMAN Trove.

Went like 1/2 on my new char a few months ago. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
But back when I used to farm rounds of Vagary for gil, I saw 2 in maybe 80 kills or so. I'd say just check FFXIDB, but I suppose that sample size is a bit low.

Saw 2 in roughly 30 plouton, and 3 linkshell members got it from gambling.

Dam well.. imma keep trying :) At least Asura have Vagary shouts in NA time.

LS is 1/700+

I've seen it once from Plouton directly within Vagary: 1/139 tries.

Also: 1/1 from trading in all 5 KIs. (dumb luck) :/

The rest I've seen are from Troves and I can't really quantify that.

Our LS does full vagary clear for weekly roe every Friday. I've been attending event for more than a year and we haven't seen one drop yet :D I'd say it's easily in the 1/100 range.
I've missed more than a few weeks, but it still didn't drop. Most ppl in ls have it from personal farming, trove or random drops.

Plouton, direct drop: approximately 2/120
Vagary campaign (x1 items): 0/39
Vagary campaign (x2 items): 1/28 [dropped in 1st slot]
Mars orbs: 0/299
Venus orbs: 0/162

Don't know who wrote KI turn-in has better drop rates during campaign on BGWiki, but it honestly feels like a 2% chance per slot like the direct drop, just 2 chances instead of usual 1. And for those of you who are thinking of storing the other 31 drops in your bag to force rerolls, we are only seeing about a 33% chance for gear, so you will still see a lot of material and memory/codex drops.

If purchasing via Trove mercs isn't an option, I would honestly suggest doing direct if farming for a single person and campaign if you need multiples for a group.

Can TT really drop from Plouton directly? or was that earlier? according wiki no..so false info?

It shows as Extremely Rare 'X' under BGwiki. The direct drop pool has the following format:

• Gear slot 1 (G)
  

• Hades' Claw (G)
  

• Dark Matter (G)
  

• Dark Matter (G)
  

• Hades' Claw (U)
  

• Gear slot 2 (U)
  

Where the last two slots are affected by TH. As for proof, I hope this will suffice.
