What's the best offhand for maximum Mordant Rime damage?

I only have capped Taming Sari or Centovnte (TP Bonus+1000), but BGWiki is "?" blank for Mordant Rime TP scaling information.

What else is possible or perhaps definitely better?

Mordant damage doesn't scale with TP.

Pretty sure aug ternarion+1 beats max taming, prob not by much. Not sure if the odyssey dagger competes as I haven't seen the stats.

So just use max taming or r15 a tern+1.

Sari and ternion are both good. Can use centovente if you want to use rudras with fast TP gain and good WS damage. Gleti's knife is also really good.

I'm excited to try Gleti. I am going to be surprised if it doesn't pull ahead of Ternion.

You cannot go wrong with Ternion R15 these days, though. Easier than trying to get a perfect Sari.

I have both Taming Sari and Ternion +1, both with max augments. Mordant Rime does benefit from the +5% WSD, but I'm not sure that wins out over 22 DEX and 12 CHR. That's a heavy dose of WS modifiers to contend with.

Personally, I only use Ternion +1 on RNG and NIN.

Ternion also has way lower delay. Ultimately it doesn't really matter and you'll probably never see a difference between any of the top options. When I get gleti's that's what I'm gonna use thanks to all the attack and higher TA. Although I almost never use MR or carn for DPS.

Ternion ia higher damage, I prefer taming for the multi attack and subtle blow

Are you asking what's the best dagger to offhand if you gonna spam Mordant Rime?
Or are you asking what's the best dagger to OH if you want to ignore the overall damage and just check WS dmg?

Leaving aside Air Knife (which is BiS) the two main options are Ternion Dagger +1 (R15) and Perfect Taming Sari.

The former is the better option in general, but if you want to consider ONLY Mordant Rime damage, then Perf Sari is slightly ahead.
This difference is like 2 digits with AM3 down, and a bit larger with AM3 up.
I am of course assuming R15 Carnwenhan equipped MH.

Edit:
Surprisingly enough R30 Gleti is behind. Gleti might have an edge in uncapped situations though, truth be said.
I can see Gleti being a better option for people who want to MH Tauret and spam Evisceration, I suppose. Haven't checked how it performs against Twashtar OH, but I wouldn't be surprised to be see Gleti pulling ahead as OH for Tauret's Evis spam.

I thought I should speak up so you don't get it for Rank 1 and then see you can't equip! ;)

Ternion +1 has a slight edge in TA and SB so maybe you mixed them up? Either way, even if Ternion does more damage in general, OP asked specifically about maximizing Mordant Rime damage. The only consideration when it comes to offhand options would be attributes.
