Using send to activate buffs on other characters is great and all but it's hard to keep track of the timers on your main, is there an addon that can send this information to the UI on your mains screen in some way?

You can use timers to create a timer. Just add to the send macro that fires the buff. If not you are going to have to find some other methods, but off the top of my head that's a simple way to do it.
