Final Harry Potter Film To Have Sex Scene?

I've read all the books as well, and honestly don't see think of it as that much of a downer that they (have to!) leave so much out when putting the story into a cinematic format.

To the best of my knowledge, Rowling still has a lot of say as to what does and doesn't make it into the film adaptations of her books, and likely understands that there is a fundamental difference between the two mediums and their successful delivery to a broad audience.

It's one thing to completely and needlessly change the key elements of a book (such as say, making Harry a girl and turning 'magic' into 'a talent for shooting billiards'), and it's another to prune down what would otherwise turn into an HBO mini-series that airs for seven straight seasons for the sake of making at the box office.

Also.. Thanks for the correction it has been a while since I've read the final book and doubt I'll be reading it again anytime soon. (the very very end was disappointing imo) I was kinda teary eyed at the same points.

I'm not gonna read too much into what anyone else has said so I don't know if anyone else has said this... but coming from my AFK from FFXIAH.com this is all I got to say:

I want to see Hermione naked. And if not naked, more naked than she has been in the last 6 movies. Tired of that delicious body being hidden behind robes. =3~~~

Given the words about Hermione so far I'm just hoping a new rumor pops up in the Celeb News soon about them taping the scene with Emma Watson and the tape concealing the beast broke and everyone on set dove into the English Channel to clean off the "Einhorn is a maaaaan" feeling. lol

I'm sorry Das (not really), but that is the stupidest reason I've heard not to read something. As an avid reader I'm assuming you'll happily read anything that's popular in the reading world, but if something is so good it also becomes mainstream you refuse to read it? Surely that would mean it's actually better than most of the other books in that genre.

J.K. Rowling is a long way from one of the best writers of this age or whatever someone called her earlier, but the entire Harry Potter series are a damn good read in their own right, and you're only doing yourself an injustice for not reading them.

There were stories about J.K. Rowling stealing the Harry Potter idea from someone else (who didn't copyright it, so there's nothing they can do), and from what Rowling says herself about how she developed the story ("Harry Potter just walked into my head fully formed one day") the story actually kinda checks out. Even if that's not true, the last few books have felt to me like it was a chore for Rowling to finish them. It seems to me that she's much more interested in the money than about the writing or the story itself. The books still came out really good (albeit with a few disappointments), but if you read them with that thought in mind it really does show through.

That's a horrible assumption. More like completely different. And no not anything that is popular in the reading world. I can't stand all those POS supermarket mystery novels/love dramas etc. I'm sure they are popular but I'm looking for something not so lame. This would be completely different if it was say just movies or such but idk how it is over there but over here people don't read. Granted part of that is our lol literacy rate but the general populace I know really hates reading. Well I hang with more litterary types but still. Maybe I'm looking for those things that turn most people away from reading you ever think that.

I agree that the scene is most likely a pipe dream having to do with the locket. I got that vibe from the scene that ultimately ends the locket. You couldn't really make Ron horribly jealous without it being at least quasi-sexual. I'm anticipating a sort of Beowulf Angelina Jolie CGI thing at best.

Also, if you don't want to read Harry Potter because people like it, then it's cool. We all understand that you're way cooler than us by hating things that other people like. Congratulations! You're non-conformist just like you want to be, just like everyone else.

If you don't want to read Twilight, congratulations! You've made the right choice.

Edit: Also, they're making the last book into two movies if you didn't know. So it won't be the last movie. Even added details like a racy dream sequence is a step above making movies about the filler from the books (hi2uhalfbloodprince)in my mind at least.
