You Guys, Santa Might Not Be Real

No, but really, who the hell designed that costume? This just occurred to me while watching Spin City, but where did it all come from? Could anyone but a paranormal demigod reindeer-charmer magician of a man come up with something like that? Unless there's some effeminate 16th Century Clothcraft expertise someone can link me to, I'm sold for now.

The site won't let me quote but santa's suit came from just imaginary thoughts from 1900's and then coca-cola used him for the corporate colors for advertisement. So coca-cola glamorized him a bit.

Speaking of Santa being fake, gotta love it when you go to a mall and they have a black santa. That's how my cousin came to stop believing, haha. What's next, female santa? Way to go non discrimination laws.

I'm not 100% sure about my facts. But if I remember right, the Saint Nick(actually historical figure) that Santa was based off of, actually sported red robes. Keep in mind, not the ones we are used to on Santa, but red was still his primary colors. Don't take me too seriously though, it's been awhile since I studied up on the mythological and historical aspects surrounding Santa Claus.


I always get a kick out of people that I've met that get upset or angry over their mythical figures skin color. Saint Nick, who Santa is based off of, was a Nordic man. Like me, white as the driven snow. Yet, Santa is just a imaginary figure, so who cares what color his skin is.

Same thing as with Jesus. People get pretty set on him being White or Black, yet if he did exist? He was Middle-Eastern~Mediterranian(sp?). But, just like Santa Claus, Jesus is a mythical figure and it really doesn't matter what color his skin is.

I just can't believe people when they are so set in their ways, when it concerns their mythical figures skin color. Especially when the actual historical persons skin color, isn't what is in common or popular practice. Silly people. ^^

Got to love this time of the year.
