Just something cool I thought maybe a few of you guys might like to see.
Out of many many tries I finally won this fight on Ninja/Dancer, From starting out trying with NIN/BRD for Melody Earrings, to doing NIN/RDM with En-spells. I did use a Kraken club for TP to give and gain. Letting Rapido stop to use a TP move and give you a good few extra minutes to get shadows up if needed.

If not I'll be trying to get a k.club to try this or maybe 75 rdm. I wonder if a rnger can do this.. if he used 10 thousand needles were you far away from his tp moves? Anyway, nice solo. You had people watching also, conrats. Youwintheinternets today. Quite impressive i would say ^^
I just have one question, how much did it cost you in powder boots to do this? Very nice job though ^^ I'm sure Mkris would do just fine, to be honest 2 katanas should work it might take a little longer and be a tad bit harder, But I have no doubt in my mind it could be done.
Yeah, That's why you only TP with Powder boots up and WS right after it uses a TP move so you can outrun them. Thanks :D Iwinztheinternets today! Not very much, You could just buy 2 or 3 pair of boots but it would make the fight takes hours. I brought 9 with me and they were all 7~10k each so not TOO bad.

I guess you would still have to watch out for crits for 1dmg though and you also wouldnt be able to use drain sambas to keep the enspell. He takes about 3s or so I would estimate. Wouldn't get far away enough without Flee ... doubt +12% movement speed would. Maybe Ninja boots would if your reactions were dead on.
Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong~ been months since I did Rapido. Impressive. It's a shame nothing dropped after all that effort.

Well if you use normal katanas you could probably get 10~20 single melee hits in before it used a TP move depending on Subtle blow Gear and Merits. I was using KC so it used TP a lot more often. Yeah, you need flee to outrun the needles... You need to get to around 15 yalms away, I always just ran to 20. I did try /DNC with Ceremonial daggers any getting TP off normal spiders or beetles for heals but I couldn't keep shadows up while doing everything at the same time. I get so much crap about saying I've solo'd NMs but didn't have a computer that could run FRAPS when I played FFXI so I couldn't record anything. The fact that you do/did is extremely lucky.

This is very true, I've also done stuff when I couldn't record it to show others and if/when they don't believe you it sucks. WOW, Now that is pwnage.
