Here is what I dont understand why people who have kitty pants wear Usukane Hizayoroi when they do not have a full usu set..

Same goes for when they have turban and wear Usukane Somen before getting full usu. Makes me scratch my head.
Hizayoroi over byakko's w/o full set is pretty much never. Usu mask though can win on mnk and nin if acc is low enough, but as acc approaches cap, turban.

E-peen, usually. There's absolutely no reason to use Usulegs over Byakko's unless you're rocking full Usu because ACC is THAT bad or you're a BB MNK who caps haste without BYakko's.

I'm surprised you haven't had an aneurysm with Dricent's posts yet Veg lol.

I honestly didn't think people thought askar head was better than turban these days :/

And lol @

See those of us with samurai know we dont need the extra 1% haste and need the str+4 because we get so much more tp per hit and have meditate so we would want to be full timing a head piece with str+4 rather than a haste+5% with no more usefull qualities. And as for the Vit+4.... the vit helps us survive a little longer since if you noticed samurai's tend to steal alot of hate

You steal hate?! lmao.

Only one combination of gear I know that can even do that, it's not easy to get, and it's still inferior.

Really? I was under the impression that full Usukane + BB was the optimal MNK build.

Oh well, I'm no MNK.

No, I was referring to the capped haste w/o byakko's, that isn't full usu (nor /drg).

As for full usu, it's superior 95% of the time, but there's other builds that will win situationally. (For example, I just put together a build that beats full usu w/ focus up only on greater colibri)

Ah kk, you got me confused

After already mentioning full usu before it, made me think you knew of the other capped haste build that I was thinking of, the one I said that wasn't worth it, lol. There's some augment 3% haste gloves you can get that'd let you cap haste w/ usu legs. Comes from past fights not fields of valor though.

Would it still work with agressor (I know that's making large assumptions about evasion of mobs at you are lvling on at lvl 90+ and doesn't count gear you might get by then etc)

Well not really, the build in question is catered specifically to colibri. It may not work on the new mobs. For example, it doesn't work on wivre, I swap back to full usu for them.

Point being to show another useless set that could cap Haste without Haidate maybe? It can't anyway.

mnks start subbing nin around lv 60+ and you dont go /war to some pick up meripo unless the rest of the dd pull their wait

W/ dia II/III and chaos roll + kabob, this'll beat out full usu for birds w/ focus up by 2-6% depending on other conditions.

My set is a variation of this, missing the earring and dex 6 ring and is sidegrade to full usu (so I still use it for fun since its the same dmg and crit crit yay).

Basically 24% haste w/ 30% crit rate

I never /nin until Meripo unless we didn't have a tank.

/war speeds the party up substantially. And I was actually well geared until 75 lol.

My current one is basically the same, but swap earring for odin earring (7 attack), swap ring to thunder, then swap bkote for enkidu mitts. Same crit rate, but less attack.

How high is a RC war's crit rate anyway? With 117 dex of course and maybe using a Zahak's.

Edit: Unsure if that 3% from Zahak's will add to the dex or not <_<

capped crits @ 117 dex on birds is 20% crit rate. The rest is simple addition. 4% merits, and 3% zhak makes for 27.
