I use skadi feet on ws now, used to use scouts. On capped ratck mobs (anything short of NM's) you'll see str has a higher return then scouts. Skadi parses higher on greater colibri, and about 20dmg lower on big mobs like Odin. I personally found no matter what I was better off with skadi feet, and personally place them as the best feet for rng. If you don't cap archery merits however, you'll probably see a higher return out of Scouts. Hands down, scout's +1 are potentially the highest dmg feet for ranger.
I do disagree on skotes to ws in. I only feel you should use them on a gun/xbow or if you can't hit the damn mob. I've parsed a lot and found the following, on SW, 1str = 2.5ratk = 3agi (you can also check this out, old thread but shows the difference in agi vs str on sw and ss. http://ffxi.allakhazam.com/db/jobs.html?fjob=7&mid=1161924072301798838&num=117&page=1). For those who disagree, throw on a 1str earring then change it to a drone, you're ws dmg is virtually identical. So i'd use blood hands or skadi hands if you can afford the acc hit.
Next thing, in parses all over the RNG threads, breeze/sea gorget has a higher dmg output vs acc mod then using a hope torque. Hope should only be used to TP in.
edit: Before I get flamed and rated down for the torque comment, hope torque will have a higher dmg output with a lower acc then a sea gorget. For consistancy and acc on sw, I'd use a sea gorget.
