Should I send them an email?
no.
but it reminds me of a story!!!
/puts out carpet squares for everyone to sit on
not so long ago...about the same time as the advent of internet mail came the internet mail scam... the nigerian prince scam was one of these and back when it started my boss asked for my opinion of it. It's the one where they say they want to put 250 million dollars in your account to launder it and you get 10% or whatever and all they need is an account number to transfer it too.
and I looked at it and said "they'll probably just take the money out of your account"
boss "I'll open a new account"
and i said "then they'll take the money out of your new account"
boss "I'll just start a new account with $50 or whatever the minimum is"
and i said "then they'll take the $50 out of your new account"
boss "but it's only $50"
and I said "which is not bad for sending a couple of emails"
the reason it works is, like we discussed earlier, most people, when they think about the future can't think about the negative things.
so you think you'll be clever and tell some russian jerkoff to go *** himself.... then the next thing you know you wake up in a bathroom in a vegas hotel with your kidney missing along with all your money and your clothes and you can't go to the police because the floor of the hotel is lined with naked pictures of you and a
CLEARLY underage russian prostitue named Katya and you are forced to spend the rest of your life working to pay off Katya's pimp's credit card bills..
So yes you should definately write him back and then ask him to meet you at your house for a showdown and give him your address...
and tell him it can be any day but your birthday and then tell him when that is.... and then of course give him your social security number to let him know
YOU MEAN BUSINESS.
No offense to us... But if you were
smart enough to find the golden loophole in any one of these... Altana only knows how many scams, then you would be too busy bathing in champagne and wiping your *** with $100 bills to hang out here with us.
