and the part where bob is under the car and home is like, "should we drive through the cactus patch?", and everyone screams yes. you hear sideshow bob scream no from under the car and homer is like, "five against one!".

Can you name the truck with 4 wheel drive, smells like a steak, and seats 35.

It's in the episode where Bart sells his soul to Milhouse, so absolutely! That's also the episode with Uncle Moe's Family Feedbag.

Best episode EVER! I can say that with all confidence!

I'd have to go with "And Maggie Makes Three" from season 6. It's the one where they flashback to when Homer had a job at the bowling alley (Homer, did you polish your head in the Shine-O Ball-O?), but then Marge gets pregnant again. So *** many quotable lines from there, but the part that made it one of the best episodes was the closing shot. It was so unexpectedly heartfelt and moving that it has always made this episode stand out.

Patty: [dials] Hello, is this A. Aaronson? It might interest to you to know that Marge Simpson is pregnant again.

Patty: [on the phone] Just thought you'd like to know, Mr. Zykowski. [hangs up, sighs] There. Aaronson and Zykowski are the two biggest gossips in town. In an hour, everyone will know.

I completely forgot about that one. That is a great feel-good episode.

EDIT: It's a shame that it has lost the sentiment.

Aw... The 3rd through 10th season of the simpsons are some of the best television around. To bad the "good" writers left after that point. It really was some of the best TV around when I was a kid.

A friend of mine occasionally gather together and marathon a season or two. It never gets old...
