I think some of them were using auto rifles though.

Before you grab the shield, get on the Hobgoblin Platform, everyone except one. When everyone is on the platform, grab the shield and get over there. The Relics shield ability can cleanse the Oracle Mark, blast the shield down when Super Power up, shoot him. Hide again and attack when Oracle has marked and cleansed.

As Long the Relic Shield is left on it's spawn point, Templar won't appear until you grab it.


I parkour'd from the boss platform back up to the starting one you jump down off of lol slightly entertaining

no worries, no worries.

fondue wanna try vog? or do you have another group? I have 2-3 friends usually on, & we tried to go in with 4 peps, but we're not cool enough to beat it.

You can't finish VOG without 6 people. You could probs do it with 5 on normal but that may be pushing rage.

we've never been in there, or watched any videos or anything. we were too ignorant to realize our short-comings.

This.
Pick any low level strike and just spam it 5 times. As long as you don't get swarmed/blind-sided or accidently 1/2-shotted by a boss you'll be fine. Use that cover.

Just charge Arc weapons on him, he dies fast with them.

I don't know of any cheese method for the Nightfall boss, but there is tons of cover and he's really dumb and predictable.

I went solo on 29 Bladedancer and finished in 18mins or so, Arcbolt Grenade with some Arc weapons was fun!

Well I'm lvl 28 sunslinger. I had a lvl 27 titan and lvl 27 sunslinger. The adds got to be too much and they didn't bring any ammo synthesis.

I leddit on reddit that you can climb on/in some boxes on a side and he can't shoot you much so there's that

Yeah adds are pretty much the battle, the phalanx in particular are annoying.

I was able to go invisible and get around their shields, otherwise they're real annoying since they don't get staggered in Nightfall.

Time Breaker is the Tier 5 Sparrow. Has overdrive over the quick turns. It blows up if you overheat but it barely hurts and it can be re-summoned right away XD! Just gives you speed boost, plus its Thrusters are Blue Fire.

we finally beat the weekly nightfall last night, inspired by Kenrusai's stories of solo'ing it. I've got to say I believe your story way more today than I did yesterday. the modifier on the weapons is insane. I bought a crappy rare rocket launcher for the second run & that thing was even devastating critters. nevermind the legendary sniper rifle.

yep. I could see it. even the arc grenades were a huge asset.
