Parsing your physical damage on Colibri is the definition of LOL in FFXI. Squishy mobs with crap defense and low HP. Ninjas can do decent melee damage while also mitigating damage and managing hate better than "heavy" melee jobs, while having the added benefit of being able to enfeeble the target considerably. You're not gonna prove jack sh*t by posting a 10 minute parse against garbage mobs. If you want to tinker with NIN to attempt to boost it's damage-dealing potential, feel free. But, NIN will remain subpar as a strictly melee job. dont forget this thing was made before the level cap increase and we were talking about meripos(birds) and nothing else

everyone knows NIN can't DD, doesn't matter how hard, or fast, or both they have... NIN isn't even a good tank job... oh well. Great DD > Great Ninja, Great Ninja > Good DD, if they have equal gear / understanding, then Ninja can only barely keep up at best. Or anytime a 2-hour is involved, Ninja can't keep up (*** Gakure). I miss the times before the 2-hander buff. Oh well, changes are inevitable.
