They'll overwrite, but not add together.

Say the NIN has DWIII and DNC sub has DWI. He wont magically have DWIV.

other than that, check the dancer forum and check item sets, can't have everything on a platter unless you are sam, then you will have 30 thread of gear bickering.

/DRG is probably the sub of choice now when you don't need shadows, assuming you're using Wyvern Earring. acc/DEX is the big stat for exp, STR/attack as appropriate when acc capped or you don't have much/any acc in the slot. CHR will help *some* for waltz builds, but not dramatically until CWIV (which it's my understanding shouldn't be used anyway due to a godawful recast). Haste for TP when you can start working it in. WS is mostly DEX, STR, and attack iirc once you have enough acc.

I realize SE is just feeding us enough information about the update to get us excited, but I can't help but ask why it wasn't specified exactly how dnc DW trait would scale up. I mean was it really too much to throw in there: "DNC will get DWII at lvl xx"

The "Dual Wield" job trait is now available to dancers at level 20, with the degree of mastery increasing in stages thereafter.

That's taken from the SE website, Dnc is meant to get the upgrades. Someone's put down on wiki that Dnc gets DWIII at 76, though unproven. I just wanna know when DWII is to know if it's worth subbing.

Ninja edit: Was proven that it has DWIII at 76

Does the Dual Wield trait give levels? I know Evasion and Accuracy, etc doesn't show the upgrades, just the trait and description.(Evasion Bonus V, etc)

Dualweld doesnt showup in triats as Dual Weld I/II etc., but i'd think DNC dualweld would be 2x the lvl of NINs.

e.g. Dual weld I, lv20, Dual weld II lv50, Dual weld III lv90

Ahh okay.. I could be wrong but I swear ***like clear mind showed up multiple times in the list, so that was what I was going by.

Is there a method for testing it at different levels (like level syncing with someone to certain levels, what exactly would you notice between DWI and DWII?)

that seems like the most logical way to test it IMO :/
