Got ahold of the union guy this morning. Unfortunately he was on the road to see a client but he did offer me some advice for dealing with this morning.
Basically sign NOTHING, DO NOT resign, but be compliant as far as turning in my keys since those are company/district property.
He said in short provisional employees don't get much protection, but that he would contact HR and try and get a story from them and then call me as soon as he can.
So, I am home, working on the resume and looking at job listings, again. I honestly might look into working for the holidays at the post office as a carrier. I could use the exercise and a change of work environment might do me some good.
