I know all the new release stuff is enough to get anyone hyped to play some Smash, but anytime I re-watch this series https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NSf2mgkRm7Q&list=PLoUHkRwnRH-IXbZfwlgiEN8eXmoj6DtKM it really pumps me up and makes me want to play.
I love Megaman being in it, but more then anything I would just want it to not feel heavy/slow when playing it and not be all floaty like brawl was taking out the edge guarding meta game part of the game. Ike confirmed to return!

Never really liked Ike was kinda hoping for either Chrom or Hector because he's just too awesome to not put in. Plus an axe wielding character would be a fresh new addition to the roster instead of another sword character. Link, Toon Link, Marth, and now Ike. Chrom made sense since FE:Awakening was one of the top selling 3DS games for a while and he is the new main protagonist. Praying for this game's "silly, unexpected" character to be Mallo from Pushmo/Crashmo haha would be pretty great to see how he would fight. He is a sumo so maybe utilize that for his fighting style as well all the gadgets from Crashmo. Mr. Game & Watch and R.O.B where way out of left field since neither of them come from video games per say. Game and Watch was a handheld led game and ROB was a robot action figure. lmao at the "For fun" mode and the "For Glory" mode, they freakin knew.....
They already fired Roy, would have sucked to have the next best swordsman be fired, too. I hope they'll keep his overall feel and gameplay, his new design is breddy gud so far.

In fairness since the Wii (most all of its models) had GC controllers, I'm surprised it took Nintendo this long to announce something like this. I loved using a GC controller on the Wii version of some games
Some people are hoping this is a veiled way of saying Gamecube games are coming to the Virtual Console.
On the SSB front I'm not sure I'll use a Gamecube Controller the Wii U Pro is pretty nice and has a way better D-pad for taunting. So, the Nintendo direct/digital E3 event is on this Tuesday; any newcomer character that people are hoping to see revealed? It seems inevitable that a newcomer will be shown, since it's the biggest video games press event of the year. I think there's going to be another big trailer like the Charizard/Greninja one, showing off at least one returning character as well.
Hoping for a Ganondorf reveal. With him not slow as a fat guy not on a mobility scooter and using that sword of his for once.
Don't care how unlikely I'm going to hope for Snake until I can verify for myself that he's not on the disc
