Morning all.

I hope your blood pressure is low, because mine's as high as a kite. I was pooping this morning, reading the news on the phone like a civilized human being, when I saw something dart across the bathroom floor. It's a good thing I was already on the toilet friends, as I would have ***myself... I gathered my courage and looked again, to see that the scurry I had noticed was meowpig's hamster whom had broken free from his cage, been roaming free all night, and managed to scare the holy *** right out of me at 5:30am.... so my day sucks so far.

how's abouts the rest of yous?

Morning millennium survivors.

I hope you all enjoyed your weekend. I decided it would be a total veg weekend. It was too damn hot Saturday to do anything anyway, so I don't think I missed anything.

Here is a recap of my weekend:

I couldn't live in the south. I would need more sedatives than a man ought to have.

what died on your pc? 800?
sounds like a chain reaction -> Mobbo which leads to a new processor, which leads to new ram cause old one incompatible and not enough, which leads to new PSU cause not enough energy, which leads to new case cause size is a bit off, prolly a new CD drive cause wiring is not compatible, which leads to a new cooling unit and fans cause new processor and case didnt come with new fans, which leads to new blue LEDs cause need to keep the computer cooled off, which leads to a new chair, cause the old chair doesnt match the coolness of the computer, which leads to a new monitor, because the old monitor wont make the new pc perform as it should, which leads a new mechianical keyboard with LEDs to keep up with the monitor's reaction times, which leads to a new cat, cause you need more cats sitting on the keyboard, which leads to a new house cause it wont be 2-cat-proofed.
so total pc upgrade cost, you are talking about a few mil or more.
oh and a new videocard.

Oh for sure. In the grand scheme of things, this is such a minute annoyance. Besides, it's an opportunity for me to catch up on other things for a couple of days.

If it's an enclosed system, you shouldn't have to replace it unless it completely dies, at which point either your processor explodes or pc shuts off (hopefully the latter).

So you shouldn't have to worry about it. I had no issues with mine for 7 years. When I checked bios last night to see if my pc was overheating, my processor was running at a cool 45 celsius.

If you are ever concerned, just do a spot check once in a while. Make sure hot air is still blowing out the back of the radiator, and make sure there are no leaks in the system. If both are good, then you should be fine. You can also install software to keep an eye on processor temp.

TL;DR Basically the same as a normal heat sink. Processor temp & make sure hot air is moving out.

usually on summer, I take off the side panel of my pc, so the ball-fan can push/pull air from the pc as well.

one more year and I think my feet will start glowing radioactive or something tho.

I went with chicken fried rice...I know it's lame.../hangs head in shame

but I have been running my experiments with chitosan and safflower oil and I'm feeling a little drained

chitosan is winning btw

safflower oil only works so well and increasing the dosage seems to have little to no effect on the outcome. Once you pass the threshold that it can hold...it.... only decreases the severity of the attack
