Its your true postion inside that area, there is already a Plugin that does it. Most likely so players can say "We'd like a NPC for this event at <Insert X Y Z Pos>, instead of a relative map grid pos.. I don't see any bloody use for it though, why a relative pos wouldn't work just as well, I don't know lol.
