Because SE has zero jurisdiction outside the game. Forums and non-official websites including screenshots have absolutely zero credibility. They can see it but they can't do anything about it. Similar to the fashion of police being unable to use evidence against someone if it was illegally obtained.
The only way they can really do anything to you is if you compromise yourself in game. That is the only place SE has the rights to do whatever they want for any (or no) reason at all.
Ethically, yes. But SE reserves the right to cancel your account at any point in time, without cause. If they really wanted to do it, they could, and there wouldn’t be a single thing you could do.
