A domestic tabby is usually the best kind of house cat.
Adopt one, don't pay a pet store for some spoiled brat.
Shots and fixed are a must. Declawed is just somewhat cruel if you ask me. Just get couch covers and you'll be fine. Cats tend to ignore clawing posts lol.
