ACP Body Piece.. Fast Cast+5% Help

ok so i finally finished acp for the body and i am having so much trouble figuring out what augs on what piece to get.

What i need to know is how much fastcast is the fastcast+5%..
I have a feeling its not really +5%.

does anyone know exactly how much it would help my utsu recasts.

Edit: I meant to ask for how much recast is it, i know its 5% fastcast, but need to know recast %.

Unless I'm mistaken, it should be a 5% cast time reduction but only a 2.5% recast reduction. It's still better than anything else you can get for NIN though, no?

Ok so i'm looking at a 2.5% recast reduction. Well i think that will be one of my augs for my nin.

Now what other aug to add? lol

You'll be using it solely as a macro piece so either enmity for /DRK spells like Stun or Evasion since you will want to pretty much fulltime it for Utsusemi imo.

It's definately going to be a precast macro piece. I think i may just go with the -enm as the other.

For what job is it for and what purpose do you have in mind?

well i havent decided yet between a utsu piece for nin, thf, mnk, rng etc OR for my blm. I'm thinking i may get alot more out of it as a precast piece for my blm then an utus piece..

But i cannot ingore it as an utus piece lol

Not entirly sure what you mean by precast, but from what I am assuming magic att / acc won't affect the spell if your switching out mid cast, nor would enmity- as well.

If my thinking is correct, then from what I am seeing you'll probably get more use out of it by taking the Wardecors and choosing your second augment for one of those jobs.

for precast im talking about using spellcast on windower. in my macro it switches out midcast for finishing spell attributes.

Roughly what I thought then. I still stand by what I said, though thinking on it does magic accuracy affect the spell during when casting starts or ends? If it goes at start there is your BLM piece as I just can't see attack kicking in until the spell lands.

What's your favorite job, first of all? I personally believe that if you like RNG at all, you should get Snapshot/Ranged Attack+10, since RNG is so lacking in good TP bodies. Also, you only need 50% total haste to cap Recast reduction, which, if you had 20% gear Haste, a BRD+RDM would be able to cap it easily.

well for my rng i have hunters jerkin +1, but yes i really thought about doing what you suggested but i rarely play my rng so what i got is good enough.

I play blm 90% of the time. I do alot of solo on it so i decided to make it a royal redingcoat with fastcast for my blm and then pet acc +15 for my smn, which i only use for AFB and JoF (jailer of faith).
