Aurore Gaiters VS Fuma Sune-ate

Would the 5 DEX on Aurore Gaiters be worth the 1% haste?

I've never wished for anything more in my life; I hope this is a joke that was made for the sole purpose of making me headbutt my head into the wall until I die and not a sincere question from a mnk.

Putting aside the obvious answer, I'll give a little more detail by saying that cumulative haste is your best friend for overall DPS in increased melee attacks and thus WS frequency. 1% doesn't sound like much on paper but because it works as a reduction in delay, and potency increases dramatically when stacked, 5 DEX will never compensate for that 1% loss of haste unless your accuracy is in trouble.

Even so, Usukane put these to shame if accuracy becomes an issue.

A better solution? Eat pizza, keep the haste.

I'll use 80% hitrate as a baseline, any less than that and you should be using a different food.

5 dex gives 2-3 acc, we'll use 3, since that's max u can get from with h2h.

3 acc is 1.5% hitrate increase

1.5/80 = 1.875% increase


For haste, for 1.875% increase or higher

1/(100-47) = 1/53 = 1.887% increase.

Basically, if you have no brd and shitty acc, Aurore. As soon as you get a brd or the gear in other slots/food to step your game up, Aurore lose

Alrighty, more or less what I expected to see as the answer lol, but thought I'd ask anyway...mainly to free up an inventory slot if possible xD.

Would like to pick them up to put more with an eva build and the 2% haste is a nice bonus.

Could always go Aurore feet + hands, BB, Bhaidate, Wturban, bam! 26% haste~
