Greetings Fellow Asuran Gamers,
The holiday is coming closer and it is evident that many do not know or understand it. I speak of "Wintereenmas", the holiday for those that worship the Church of Gaming. Forunatly, I am only partially speaking in humor. For those of you that don't know about it, you can find out more at www.churchofgaming.com or where it originated at www.ctrlaltdel-online.com.
As for the holiday itself, it's not like a typical holiday. The Wintereenmas time is mainly for gaming. The spirit of the holiday is to invite friends over, host LAN parties and do a lot of things related to... you guess it, videogames! Giftgiving is in poor gaming spirit, however if you inclined to show your spirit this way, then a home-made card or something about the $10US range is appropriate.
Wintereenmas was brought forth from people that just love to game. People, that /random(ed) and got a 999 in order to win at a casino. People, that did a BCNM and had a Kracken Club drop. People that casted lots and got a 1 for an item they really wanted. In other words, people that both thanked and cursed the gaming gods at any point in their gaming lives. People, like me.
Wintereenmas takes place from January 25th through January 31st. Enjoy your gaming at all times!

really? We Actually call these " Lan Parties! " Ya they can be really fun.. when you get like 6 pc's hooked up. Used to do this way up in Northern Ontario, where the internet was still on Dial up, so what we would do, is find 6 local gamers.. and do the Junk food/ Booze/ Alcohol and do like a weekend Blitz every 2x a month ( Start Friday Afternoon and End Sunday around noon hour where we would go for Eggs and bacon at a local restaurant to recover... Ya not so much anymore now I live in an area of Highspeed Wholesomeness!!! /bump

^ israfel :P where in washington are you at, enjoying the flood? Technically I'm in ID, but who would wanna admit that! O_O lol, I'm like 10 min from the washington border, so I like to frequent seattle when I can :)(long drive but soooo worth it^^; ) The food is nice, but it's a far cry from what I'm used to back home, though I'm a sucker for the seafood :Q lol

I don't know whether to be depressed or sickened that someone even jokingly takes anything Tim Buckley says or does with more than a passing thought.
I've had the unfortunate luck to meet the guy a few times before he "hit it big" as he puts it back in 2002/2003. He's a massive *** and I can only hope that there is some sort of celestial justice in the world to clean up this waste of a human.

So you have to be a nice guy to be funny? I find something quite odd about the vehemence with which you condemn him, when what I said was "CAD is awesome", not "Tim Buckley" is awesome. Until the day I meet him (which will most likely be never), I'll have no opinion of him and continue to appreciate his web comic for what it is.
