For a career PLD which one is more convenient? I don't plan to level many DD jobs, I have SAM79 and will end DRG but that's it. I don't do dynamis, but just started doing Limbus, Sky and soon nyzul climbs using both SAM and PLD.

I keep hearing that Rajas also works good on PLD but I am not sure... the enmity, vit and agi from the sattva looks better to me.

Thanks for the help.

The only place for Sattva was being a 2nd action ring with Hercules, now there is a new 4 ENM ring, other rings out class the HP+ by a lot, rings match/surpass the Agi and Vit+, the only real use I can see for it is a Rampart macro.

Tl;Dr, Rajas.

Rajas, Satva is a macro piece just like Tamas. You can not replace Rajas... Rajas also works as a good option to TP on PLD, Rajas/Toread Rajas/Blitz are generally decent if sushi is being used

I don't play Paladin, but I think most Paladins are always /nin. And I remember being told, you don't need a lot of VIT and DEF when you have shadows up. Maybe when shadows are down, you might.

If you don't have shadows idle in PDT rings.. Satva is a good cure ring? Rajas is just irreplaceable get one, atonement and make proper macros for Cure cheat/TP/all that good PLD shtuffs

VIT and defense are about the most useless stats in the game, even for Paladin. Sattva's sole good use is a combination HP/enmity piece for your cure cheat. Rajas lets you Atonement faster (more enmity/time) and is irreplaceable for any melee job.

HP+15~30 VIT+2~5 AGI+2~5 Enmity+3 = pld ring.
dont listen to all these rajas= god. its not a tank ring, the 30 hps alone makes it better
the 5% store tp on a rajas with a sword will not proc any tp.

tank with JA and not damage, or go all damage and call yourself a DD pld

this is why pld is main tank choices for hate and tank until people start having shadows and get a nin tank casue they lose hate too fast

If you have atonement, yes Rajas is good, if you don't its not really worth it for PLD but would be good for your sam and/or your drg.

With that being said, it is totally up to you on what you prefer. Rajas is situational, as is sattva, both have their uses.

As far as what I think, I would honestly choose sattva while rajas is nice for atonement I personally prefer acc rings.

Rajas outTPs acc rings easily and you should really have Atonement by now...

Why would anyone pick Satva when there is another ring to replace it thats better..... BBQ for HP... Hercules ring for Enmity, Jelly ring for PDT the only unique property about Satva is curing because of the VIT/Enm/HP mix, other then that learn to make macros and become a better player :)

Sattva ring is pointless for the following reasons:

PDT rings > vit and def from sattva.
Other rings give more HP+
There are higher Emnity rings.

So go ahead and get a sattva ring if one of the following fits your situation:

You don't know how to use macros.

-edit, did have more reasons for the "to use" reason on sattva, but decided to be nice.

You're on Ancient Vows in CoP, aka, you don't even have a ring, so you can't talk.

Two, Rajas > All, the other rings can be replaced, quite easily.

Also; Guys, Nyzul is hard :\
