woooooooow. Here, since he has no clue, and already blocked me for one of the dumbest reasons I have ever heard of, I'll do more exact math on conservative numbers:

with 15,000 viewers (a slow day for own3dtv for dyrus) doing only 3 adds per hours (keep in mind most players do it between every game so rarely is it once an hour) dyrus makes $135/hour

now, lets say he only streams 5 days a week (he usually streams more) for only say 5 hours a day (also, usually he streams more) it is: $675/day $3375/week $189,000/year.

This is going with him getting the very base of $3/1000 viewers and low estimates of viewers. Dyrus often had 25,000 viewers or more, streams more than 5 days a week and more than 5 hours a day.

Now, I am curious as to spence's reasoning behind him not making good money? Unfortunately he blocked me based purely because... well I have no idea. I did have some respect for him in this game, but judging by his clear lack of knowledge in this aspect and his instant refusal of the information it makes me question if this is how he usually conducts his reasoning.

Current stats are different as most big streamers changed to twitchtv which I don't know the rates of and the viewers have no yet caught up on it and dyrus is only getting some 8,000 viewers. Yet it has only been less than a week since the change. Most people probably haven't even figured out that they switched sites.

Except that math is flawed because it doesn't account for the large majority who ad block. That being said, it's already been stated before by dyrus himself that a good month he makes on average 1-2k.


So to say they make anywhere close to 900k a year, is basically, HELP I AM TRAPPED IN 2006 PLEASE SEND A TIME MACHINE.

pro players make around 45~120k-ish sometimes more a year or so given the endorsements they get from sponsors and how they fair in tournaments or contracts they get signed on for. Also depends on what game the player plays.

It seems hard to believe they make anything less than $50/hour so only making a grand in a month seems pretty hard. When were they quoted as saying only a grand a month? League is expanding very fast. The 900k/year isn't by any means a steady figure. If they make anything like that overall including tournaments and sponsorship it would only have started in the last 8 months or so.

I was an involuntary participant in the first penta kill I've ever seen... Only moments after I came 200ish range short of getting my own and the enemy escaped.

So if any of you don't know they somehow broke masteries so you could invest more than the usual maximum number of points.

So people did stuff like this where they got 100% Summoner Spell CDR. Pretty nuts. Also this has since been fixed, but the video is good for a chuckle.

Just had 3 decent PVP matches. I'll start with the one I lost, 3/6/5. Even though I lost and had a lot of deaths, I learned from it a bit. Sometimes, you just cannot juke people with Wukong. Sometimes it just doesn't work. o ~o

The other match I did really good, with 9/1/7. Great teamwork got us the win. I also changed my build a tiny bit, nothing spectacular. Built IE instead of BT first, I liked the extra damage a lot. Motivates me to build IE earlier rather than later.

But the one I really want to share with you all is the latest PVP match I had, where I got a score of 8/4/2. They were really beating us as we had a LOT OF LOSSES. I had the least amount of deaths, others had over 10 deaths. That spells a GG outright when the enemy team had at the highest 8 deaths. But we had one chance, and we pushed for their nexus and brought their towers down, very much akin to another match I had a week ago. We had another team fight, only then, we all died and they aced us. They pushed mid and as my team got up, I told them I was going to dive their nexus on my own, and that the team had to defend.

So, off I went, joggin' my monkey across the map like a broski. I went the jungle route to avoid detection, and avoided typical entrances for Teemo mushrooms. I didn't get detected as I snuck into their base and started to hammer up their nexus while they were still attacking our base. They clearly panicked and didn't know who in heaven's name to send to try and stop me LOL! So, by the time someone arrives, I have the nexus at 40%. Hecarim attacks me along with Veigar.
So, I decided there and then what to do.

"Time to play a game of chasey with them! :D"

Veigar stuns me as Hecarim goes around to try kill me. I ulti as I kill the minions and to avoid unit collision and go around the ulti, avoiding Veigar and Hecarim. And sure enough, they try come around to kill me. I hit the nexus summoar. NIMBUS STRIKE THE OTHER WAY! :D They run around again, I go the other way around the nexus again. Whackamole against the Nexus some more, waiting for the right moment as I decoy and go around again, hitting it with Crushing Blow and then using Nimbus strike once more to go another direction, hitting the Nexus a few more times and destroying it, winning us the game with me once again at 20% health! Needless to say, I found it hilarious xD
