I could just be a douche but then I won't have fun either.
I take normals seriously. People that don't annoy the piss out of me. I don't take them as seriously as ranked, but I still play the best I can. Try-hard is a terrible insult and is just an excuse for playing like an idiot.
Taking it seriously as in, worrying so much about roles.
It's normal that people try to win anything they play, it's the goal after all, but it's not normal that you sacrifice your fun or other people's fun in order to do so.
In ranked, the goal is to progress, so people can get really serious and show some kind of attitude. In Normals, the point is to practice, so the mood isn't the same and shouldn't be the same. The end goal is the same, the attitude toward it isn't.
Everything turns to ***whenever people are unable to make the difference between both queues.
"Try hard" shouldn't even exist, it makes no sense.
wut? i don't think anyone was saying they take normals serious. people call roles in normals, and he's having lag when loading the lobby. just picking whatever you want in normals and ignoring calls is generally considered annoying and usually done by shitty people.
It depends.
Blinds is literally "pick whatever, go wherever, enjoy, have fun, bottom line".
Draft is "practice whatever you want in a normal situation, try to compromise with your team mates to build a proper group".
But even in Draft, you shouldn't sacrifice yourself. This is a game in the end, you play it to be good or just to have fun, you still don't want frustration of any form at the end of the day. You can achieve this without necessarily being an *** toward other players, you just need the proper attitude matching the queue you are in.
