I'm 1/91 for Lik and 0/200+ on gugs before I gave up. Maybe I'll start again if I'm super bored.
I got my opal silk yesterday. I was like 1/60 on Liks. I'm like 0/70 on gugru's so far. Some guy offered to sell me both fishes which is how I finished Liks the other day. Hopefully I can get gugru in the next few days.
I got opal silk after 500 liks 3 days ago and saber yesterday after 30 gugrus, btw i didnt trade the 500 liks in in day that was for more than a year >.>
I probably got the first 90 lik's in a few days, then spend a few months on gugs.
I'm currently working on two Ebisu rods.
On my mule I already have the Saber shoot; got it in 83 fish. For me I've currently traded in 154 so far. A friend of mine is fishing them up for me, and is selling them to me at a huge discount. Obviously not the worse I've heard, but I'm working on it. On the Wikia talk page, there are people who have traded in more than 1,000 of each. Guess I'll share my record, as per my profile:
1/1123 lik and 1/96 gugrusaurus Naturally I got the gugru item first, got really pumped, then hit the downward spiral that was the lik sink. After getting my lik item, out of spite I HQed a lik kabob, which I keep in my bazaar for 16,845,000, or the opportunity cost lost in turning in liks for their going rates at the time. Fun times. 0/7 Lik, 1/9 Gugrusaurus (and they were all free XD my brother had spares from doing his)
1/356 lik, 1/7 gug, got both within 5 mintues, lulz
1/78 on liks, 1/219 on gugs
just dance, cry, kneel, talk to him in say, etc...eventually he will either feel bad or get annoyed and give you them 0/240 on Opal Silk on my alt.
I only fish every once in a while these days. I don't think I'll ever finish my Ebisu... Seomtimes I feel like I have the motivation to keep trying when I think im halfway done. Then I turn in 50 Liks at once and get no Opal Silk. So close, yet so far away.. If it makes you feel better, my fishing is 53 and I just started doing GP items! =O 4,000/95,000! Aaaaaand, I don't have a Lu Shangs either, so I'm pimping Composite and Halcyon rods! 0/196 now...so *** dumb
Just went 1/59 on Lik! Started on Gugs and 0/11 so far.
1/3 lik; 1/387 gugrusaurus
and lots of broken lu rods. Im currently working on Gugrus, took a break from fishing for a few weeks after getting opal silk.. thing is since the update im having some real issues, 5 hours, only managed to land 12 gugrus, had 10 rod breaks, no idea how many line breaks, i remember these being crappy.. but i dont remember them being this crappy. Anyone else noticed a dropoff or am i just having a real bad day?
